Law clearly states employer cannot discriminate based on immigration status.
Walking dude has a point. I think we should take this up. We shouldn't be calling the employer and notifying them. We should notify the ad to appropriate authorities.

not sure how reliable this info is, take it with a fist full of salt...
on june first nse received abt 740 I485 applications.
I hope it is true. NSC is lazy man. They cannot process more than that a day. if not there will be a retrogression/backlog here in receipts too.:(

Getting sick of this movement in dates.
Illegal guy in US makes more money & without any hassle.
Trying to stay legally hurts very much for the past 9 years.
Atleast they should allow to pre-file I-485 so that atleast guys like me (when we missed july 2007 race) can just file and complete the verification process in I-485.

I think I'm one of last person with the PD of 2005 to get approved.
Service Center NSC.
Had two infopass appointments
Raised SR on 8/5/2010
Many calls to USCIS national customer service
Spoke once to second level IO
Also contacted local congress man and tow senators
My lawyer also contacted NSC regarding my case
Not sure what worked but finally got it. Thank god that this eternal wait is over.
Good luck to those who are all waiting.

Why SKULL bill ? As a high level manager I have learned after years of experience that you need to use good sense of humor, satirize when confronted with insanities and very stressful situations.
I appreciate your effort to make us smile and relieve stress but when you repeateldly

You too must have realized it by now as people have started questioning why

My I-140 has approved by NSC in Apr 2006. Now I'm moved to Houston.
Now I have applied my I-485 from Houston. My lawyer send my application to NSC. Since my current residence is in TSC region my application will be transfer to TSC. So I don't know how long it will take to get the receipt#.
My application received on 07/02/2007 at NSC.

Got cards for both me and my wife on 07/28
Approved for two years beginning OCT to OCT/10
The weird part is that my I-131 application still shows pending on the USCIS website . My wife who is the Primary applicant got her application approved on 07/22 .

Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.
Several of us have writtent to Ombudsman, Director but of no avail.
Not sure what else can be done? Any Idea? Do we have any liaison with AILA who can take up this matter.
You are talking about 2004, 05. What about 2001, 2002 and 2003? There are so many people with 2002 priority dates still waiting just like me. Mine is 02/2002
