My 140 was approved at TSC, sent 485 to Nebraska on June 22, they received on June 25. I called to check status yesterday, the lady said to wait. On asking if case will be transferred to TSC and if TSC will generate receipts, she said she doesn't know, but it may take at least 2-3 weeks to process receipts at Nebraska.
I just called national customer service center for my 485 receipts and the lady told that nebraska filers should still wait for 30 more days before they call for receipt updates...she said she was answering the same question since this morning and mentioned that it could still take atleast 30 days for nebraska center to register the applications...
when I asked her if she knew whether my case has been transferred to TSC already (since my 140 got approved from TSC), she said she wouldn't know that answer...her bottom line was to wait...
what a mess!!!!!

Yeah, I know my life sucks. I have a priority date of Jan 2003. Got filed under EB3 even though did MS here... I begged and pleaded that they atleast send it on Jan 28th. For god's sake, I was qualified all the way since June 1st. I gave all the documents necessary by June 6th itself. Well, but they had to file on 29th.
I hear you man. I am in exact same situation. I filed on June 29th inspite of having whole July. We will see what happens. Hope we will be fine!

Hello All,
Talked to my lawyer today about the checks; they have been encashed for myself and my spouse on 9/4. My RN starts with SRC.
My I-140 was approved from Texas and my AOS/485 was mailed on july 2nd and arrived on july 3rd to NSC.
Just a curious question for those you have already received their RN#. When checking the case status it displays "I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS "...will this message change when EAD has been approved and mailed?

No, I-485 and EAD have different receipt numbers and each case status is different.

My situation is similar too.
The employer is not ready to file the 485, thinking that I may leave the company after 6 months.
I have the I-140 receipt notice , but no approval notice.
There is no way he is going to issue a employment letter , still debating my options.
What if you assure him by signing a 2 year bond. Once you get the card, give him the finger

The problem will come, if you have an RFE for employment. If you get a letter from client, they will say that the company has employed, say for example Mr John as a Programmer Analyst for a period of 1 year. This will open up one major issue, that is you do not work for a company. The H1 and 485 is an application that is sponsored by a company, there is no clause for self sponsor. So when they see u are self sponsored, they could reject your 485.

I AM going to face them, confront them, demand them to provide justice, if not I want them to REFUND every penny i have paid so far. If this "I AM" becomes "WE", half the battle won. Now just see the pattern, the moment we start talking about donation and volunteering .. the guys sitting on the sidelines distracting and demotivating , stopped being part of the conversation. Everyone says I am rude, not I am not I just show the mirror as it is.. what can I do if you see the ugly face in it.
How good the group can be , which is actually missing when you need the count.
